SuNyx produces products with nanotechnology modified functional surfaces, in particular to achieve ultrahydrophobe coatings. The first product is MPep Biochip to analyze proteins in biotechnology research. The second product is an ultrahydrophobe (water-repellant and self-cleaning) coating for glass surfaces with absolutely unique characteristics in terms of scratch-proofing, fatigue strength and optical characteristics.
All of the company's divisions and patent developments were successfully sold to various bidders such as the listed Qiagen N.V. through to the middle of 2007.
