Christian Sarwa joined Ventizz in Zurich in January 2009 as Investment Manager and was promoted to the role of Investment Director in October 2011. To date, Mr. Sarwa has primarily been involved in the development and structuring of transactions in the clean technology sector. Prior to this, he worked, from 2005 on, as Investment Manager at NBGI Private Equity in London managing a 90 Million Euro Private Equity/Venture Capital fund focused on European technology investment. In addition, he was on the board of two Medical Device portfolio companies. Previously, he was Senior Consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Zurich, working for their engineered products, automotive and med-tech industry practice on international strategy, M&A, and restructuring projects. Prior to moving into consulting, Christian was production manager in a start-up company for recordable Compact Discs and involved in the development of a spin-off company from ETH Zurich commercialising an innovative plastic processing technology. Christian Sarwa qualified as a materials engineer from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich and has an MBA from the London Business School.
